About Karen…
Karen’s engaging stage presence has been bringing out fans throughout Colorado and beyond for 30 plus years. Along with belting vocals that call to the heart, Karen switches off between slide playing on resonator, standard acoustic guitar and the occasional lap steel. She can draw people in on a heartbreak ballad and then bring them to their feet dancing to a boogie song.
Karen has garnered awards and accolades for her singing. She has been the featured artist for many songwriter showcases, and her song “I’m Sick” is included on the album TimeStamp, a collection of COVID era songs.
Karen has been featured in the online magazine Voyage, and has appeared on several episodes of the ComfyCouch (a podcast produced by Longmont Public Media). She is a member of both the Colorado and Mile High Blues Society’s and has placed 2nd in Colorado’s International Blues Challenge 2 years in a row.
